When you think of camping, you usually think of a beautiful lake, nice grass for the tent, a big area for you to spread out...not here in TX. We went to Medina Lake over the weekend, and on a whim, decided to spend the night and camp. In the middle of July. In South Texas. What were we thinking, you might wonder? We stayed cool in the 100 degree weather by floating in the water...all day. It was a relaxing and fun day.

We ended the day with hot dogs and brats by the fire (which was not TOO big because it was too hot to begin with. We didn't need a fire to keep us warm!) and, of course, s'mores! Kyle and I did learn one thing from this trip. If we go again, we are investing in a tent. Sleeping in the Equinox was not the most comfortable way to spend the night! Overall it was an amazing weekend with friends and we had a blast.
